A temple of the Tendai sect located about 15 minutes by car from JR Shinoyamaguchi Station. You can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and maple leaves in autumn. Eleven-faced Kanzeon Bodhisattva is enshrined.

November 1 〜 There is an event called Momiji Sanzan Tour until the last day, and if you stamp it at Kozoji Temple, Bunpoji Temple, and Daikokuji Temple, you will receive a limited-time Momiji Sanzan red stamp. Unfortunately, the day I visited was hardly colored yet, but I was healed by walking leisurely along the road from the mountain gate to the main hall.

In Sasayama City, it is a famous place for autumn leaves along with Daikokuji Temple and Bunpoji Temple. The cherry blossom season is beautiful, and the weeping cherry blossoms bloom gracefully. Since access to the site is inconvenient, it is best to visit Daikokuji Temple, Bunpoji Temple, and Sasayama Castle while driving. The entrance fee ¥ ３００ will be collected during the cherry blossom and autumn leaves season. I visited because I was asked about the cherry blossoms, but it seems that it was still early, and it seems that mid-April this year will be good.
