Daxi Wude Palace was completed in 1935. Before World War II, Japanese people marched militarism and promoted the spirit of samurai, so they built Wude Palace in various places for police and young children to practice judo and swordsmanship. The so-called "wude" is the swordsmanship and five virtues. "Justice, shame, courage, etiquette, Comity.” In 1950, the Taxi Guild Hall was changed to the President’s Hall, and the Taxi Gendarmerie was added, which is to use the Wude Hall as a team camp. After the team site was removed in 2000, the Wude Palace was renovated, the roof was maintained with the original wooden structure and bronze decoration, and the surrounding walls and guardrails were changed to cement and stone washing. In 2004, it was registered as a "historic building" in Taoyuan County.
