With time only for a quick lunch we booked, at the last minute, a table at Little Italy and were immediately struck by how busy it was on an otherwise quiet Monday - a promising sign. The proprietor greeted us warmly in good English (it turned out that he spoke an impressive 5 languages!).The set lunch brought competent pasta with salmon and mushroom ravioli in bolognese sauce. The included house red wine was of good quality. Sweets - fresh fruit salad and pannacotta with red fruit coulis followed. Service was excellent. This will be my restaurant of choice for dinner when I re-visit Beauvais in 2023.
