Guta Park (West Gate)

Guta Park, located in the Wangsiying area of Chaoyang District, Beijing, covers an area of 55.7 hectares. It is called Guta Park because of the ten-fang Buddha pagoda (Beijing Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit) built in the Ming Dynasty.

Because there is a pagoda of the ten-fang Buddhas (municipal-level cultural relics) of the Ming Dynasty, which was built in 1538, it is named Guta Park. The park has four main scenic spots, namely: Xidamen District, Central Lake District, Mountain Garden District and Guta District. Among them, the central lake area is the main scenic spot, named the colorful spring garden, built with Huawangtai, Haitang Square, pavilion corridor combination, Pingquan stack water and other landscapes, which organically combine the ecological environment characteristics of the ancient tower country with the garden landscape characteristics of the city park, and fully equipped environmental protection public service facilities. The whole garden is planted with more than 200 varieties of various Joes, shrubs and flowers, about 220,000 plants.
