Mentougou Yanhe City and Enemy Units

Mentougou along the river city and enemy Taiwan is located in the village of Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing. It was built in the Mingwanli period (1573). It is one of the fifteen enemy Taiwans under the jurisdiction of the river castle. The enemy Taiwan is divided into two floors, about 15 meters high, and there are mouths. There are no city walls between the enemy Taiwans, but it is dangerous by terrain. A continuous line of defense can be formed.

The city along the river in Beijing was called "Sancha (branching) village" and "Yanhekou" because of several mountain passes and shuikou. It was first called "Yanhecheng" after the city was built in the sixth year of Wanli (A.D. 1578). Here, by the mountains and rivers, is a quiet and natural scenery.

It is an ancient military camp with a history of six or seven hundred years, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and well preserved (including later restored parts).

This ancient barracks, with its Great Wall and enemy platform, which have been downgraded for hundreds of years since the Ming Dynasty, are relatively well preserved.

On the edge of the Yongding River, in the mountains, it should belong to the part of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty, and the road is good.
