It’s a steep climb.
We rented a villa at about a mile below of this castle. So we hiked up to see what the history and what this was. . What a view. !!!
A must see if you are in the Amalfi or Naples area of Italy!
Our tour of the town's castle was informative, interesting and impressive. The tour guides Giusy and Marziano were a pleasure! Both my teen daughters enjoyed it and ranked it above our Pompeii visit...

The valley of Nocerino-Sarnese is dominated between Castellammare and Pompeya. It is not very well preserved and this attractiveness should be boosted.

Bel Castle, well maintained yet little known. The best way to get there is to go from Gragnano. Visited Sunday morning, completely empty, only us and the guard (and ticket). I...
