Ein Kerem is a beautiful village in the southwestern part of Jerusalem. Where Christians live, the Christian saint John the Baptist was born here. The long-established Ein Kerem has been ruled by many civilizations, leaving a rich cultural and religious mark. Ein Kerem Street View Ein Kerem culture is inclusive and peaceful. Stop and stop along the way, I saw the Byzantine, Arab, European minimalist style of architecture and murals, only hating their own art, cells are not enough! Churches of different religious civilizations abound, living a living history book. Spring of the Virgin The Fountain of the Virgin, it is said that the Virgin Mary visits the relatives halfway. Church of the Visitation Ein Kerem's most beautiful church, where the Virgin Mary visits the family of Saint John. The style of Arabian architecture, walls and tiles give me a heavy sense of texture and time. The church is small in size, but very delicate and very serene. The only pity is that tourists can't go to the clock tower and can only look up to her beauty. Suggestions Ein Kerem is only about 10 km from Jerusalem and can be reached by car in 20 minutes. Because it is a small village around the mountain, it is recommended to go light and sneakers.
