In the Isan language, "Bog" means "bo" or "reservoir". The Bog here was formed by natural erosion of more than 3,000 reservoirs, which is the origin of the name "Sam Phan Bok". The best time to visit is around October - May of every year. During the rainy season, the water will flood all the Bog. Another good thing in the Isan region is Ubon Ratchathani.
