Built to keep the relics of the Lord Buddha, Wat Suan Dok features numerous white shrines surrounding a golden bell shaped stupa.Beside it is an Assembly Hall featuring intricately decorated pillars in a massive hall. It's a beautiful temple and we would recommend visiting this temple at least once if you're in China Mai. We visited this temple as part of a private tour that took us to a few temple sites. Songde Temple is located in the suburb of Chiang Mai, in the middle of the road to the ancient city to Suthep Mountain. The Tallinn, a golden and white stupa, is quite spectacular because it is far from the ancient city and commercial center, so there are no bustling tourists, only magnificent stupas, exquisite carvings and clusters of white stupas. In fact, these white stupas are the resting places of the Chiang Kai-shek sorghum or the nobles. It is close to Chiang Mai Airport and will continue to see the plane passing through the sky~

#songkran2024 This temple is probably the most beautiful one of Chiang Mai! It’s incredible how much effort they put into the construction of the temple. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside. We were lucky to see monks and other people doing rehearsals for new years celebrations. Loved this temple!This temple not in ours list , just more free times so we walk to it . Beautiful than what we expected. the main building need ticket ( small charge ), surrounding area free for walk around’ take photo ‘ . Lovely place , peaceful feeling.

#songkran2024 This was a very beautiful temple located in the City. You can pass by this one when you are just roaming around. It is a totally worth it place to visit even if you have been to other temples in Chiang Mai. It is just incredible on how distinct every temple is. You would love to see the small white Pagodas and the Big Buddha Shrine and to learn about its history

It's a bit of a distance from the Nimmanhaemin area, but it's a temple you can even walk to. There are many white objects, and it was beautiful. Also, you can often see airplanes taking off from the airport, so I think it's a hidden gem for those who want to see airplanes. You have to take off your shoes to enter the temple. The inside is spacious, glittering, and luxurious. The decorations are impressive, and the Buddha statues are large and impactful. There were also many small Buddha statues around the main Buddha statue. I recommend visiting it along with Nimmanhaemin.

According to the guide, the stupas contain the ashes of several Thai kings, hence it is also known as the 'Thirteen Tombs' of Thailand. The huge bell-shaped stupa in the temple is very similar to those from the Sukhothai period and commemorates the famous monk Mahathera Sumana, who is said to have come to Chiang Mai from Sri Lanka to teach and once lived here. However, the most eye-catching thing is not the magnificent temples and golden pagodas, but a large area of traditional Lanna-style cemeteries, arranged in various sizes but with a certain degree of orderliness. Under the clear blue sky, they are solemn and exquisite, making people almost afraid to approach. The tower is not very big, but it appears somewhat dazzling in the sunlight, faintly emitting a radiance that moves the hearts of viewers with a heavy and tranquil power. At first, this was just a beautiful garden belonging to the Wang family. The huge bell-shaped pagoda in the temple was built to commemorate the famous monk Mahathir Sumana, who lived here from Sri Lanka to Chiang Mai.
