Sushi Kotobuki

This Japanese restaurant is one of the better ones I've had in New Zealand, and it's very cost-effective. It's one of the cheaper and tastier ones I've ever eaten. The eel sushi and salmon are both authentic.

Delicious and affordable We ate here two days in a row it was so good. Fast and fresh food...I had a California roll and some teriyaki chicken on a stick. Highly recommend.

Kotobuki was recommended to me by many friends and I finally decided to go to this sushi restaurant. I booked a table for Friday night and luckily I got one as it was packed. There is little decor and the first impression may be that it seems a bit uncomfortable or second rate. However, the food and service were excellent. This was the freshest sushi I have ever tasted (and I have eaten sushi many times). Most of the prices were very reasonable and my friend and I only spent $20 each. And I was able to take the rest home in a box! Will definitely be back to Kotobuki soon.
