L'Olivier de Berne

The setting for this restaurant is excellent. I was hoping for the food to match, as being local I am looking for a go to quality restaurant. Unfortunately it did not match expectations.The food is not subtle and tends to be large portions of a few ingredients. For example my main course consisted of a piece of coquelet and numerous small potatoes. To give an idea of the quantity I ate as many as I could manage but still left 12.The wine (Chateau de Berne) was very enjoyable and good value.I wish I had found a top class restaurant and could have written a good review but the food does not match the location.

Great location. Food mediocre and service just about adequate. Disappointed.

Brunch at Olivier de Berne is simply fantastic. The setting is magnificent and the service very professional. The variety of dishes and the quality are just perfect. The choice of serving brunch in the kitchen is brilliant. Lobster, ceviche, truffle fog, etc., perfect. And all you can eat! The musical ambiance is very pleasant in this idyllic setting. The heat was too much, but we were very attentive, moving the umbrellas according to the sun. Thank you. Will do it again. The value for money is perfect. An excellent time to share with friends.

The quality of the products used for brunch (the same as those of the gourmet restaurant), the originality of the brunch service location (in the restaurant kitchen with the brigade who provide us with information), the diversity of the dishes offered, the atmosphere of the Olivier de Berne restaurant with its singer whose repertoire is totally in keeping with the place. In short, an excellent time spent with family on July 14th.

Friendly, welcoming, discreet staff, attentive and very responsive. Brunch: excellent food, high quality. A real treat. Magnificent setting, exceptional and calm. A true joy.
