pxy0705Toulon is a famous French military port and the seat of the French Navy. Here has a long history of the French navy. The naval museum here records the glory of the French navy. There are many collections here, from wooden warships hundreds of years ago to the most advanced Northwind-class cruiser in France. Here you can see real objects or models. It is definitely a place for navy fans.
TequilaThe most beautiful lake in Provence, France-Lake Sainte-Croix (play guide + accommodation recommendation + food recommendation) Lake Sainte-Croix is known as the most beautiful lake in Provence. The best way to visit this area is by car, and public transportation is slightly inconvenient. When we first saw that Lac de Sainte-Croix (Lac de Sainte-Croix) was just at sunset, watching the afterglow of the setting sun scattered on the calm lake, we really couldn't help but exclaim! It's so beautiful and dreamy! The Sainte-Croix Lake is not actually a natural lake, but a reservoir built in 1974, connected to the Gorges du Verdo (Grand Canyon of Verdun), and is the second largest reservoir in France. The place where we photographed the sunset is at Pont du Galetas, the bridge at the west exit of the Verdun Gorge. This is the best place to photograph Lake Saint Croix. Because the lake of Santa Croce is rich in fluorine and microalgae, it looks particularly emerald green. (Picture 1) Early in the morning is also a good time to take pictures of Lake Santa Croce. At this time, there are fewer tourists and a clean picture can be taken. (Picture 2) If summer comes, we might as well swim or rent a boat for boating, but our travel season is October. France in autumn is already quite cold, so basically we can't go into the water! (Picture 3) There are several towns around Lake Sainte-Croix, such as the ceramic town (Moustiers-Sainte-Marie), the lavender sanctuary Valensole (Valensole), and the place where I chose to stay. Salles-sur-Verdon), I chose this small town because it is on Lake Sainte-Croix, and it is also the starting point for my next self-driving Grand Canyon of Verdun. The town of Lesales-sur-Verdon is very, very small. There is a small church, Paroisse Sainte-Anne, which is very simple. (Picture 4) It only takes about 1 hour to simply circle the town, but there are many cost-effective hotels and restaurants here. [Recommended accommodation] Accommodation: Auberge des Salles (Recommended index:) Address: 18 Rue St Catherine, 83630 Les Salles-sur-Verdon, France Room price: 83 Euros 1 night city tax: 1.6 Euros Whether to bring your own parking lot for one night: Yes. This hotel is a two-star hotel, and the facilities are relatively old, but the price is good, and! There is also a lake-view room, the price is very reasonable, so it is worth recommending~~~ (Picture 5) The balcony of the hotel looks out to Lake Saint Croix, which happens to be a beautiful sunset, which is very pleasing to the eye. (Picture 6) [Recommended restaurant] Restaurant: L'Escapade (Recommended index:) Address: 2 rue Pierre Blanche | 83630 Les Salles sur Verdon, 83630 Les-Salles-sur-Verdon, France A family ranked third in TripAdvisor The restaurant, the restaurant environment is quite good, I feel that it is not only patronized by tourists, but also by locals. The restaurant does authentic French cuisine, the taste is generally good, the price is not expensive, and the service is great. (Pictures 7 and 8) Don’t forget to order local beer from the Verdun Gorge here. This is quite famous in the local area. It has a strong wheat flavor and fragrant. You must try it! QuinissaI had the chance to visit Notre Dame sadly after the fire ruined the back part of the cathedral, because it was made of wood, so it was easily caught on fire. But luckily, the front part still looks very beautiful, and if you just stay at the front parr, you couldnt tell that something happened before. The Seine river beside this cathedral makes it look even more pretty. I didnt have the chance to go inside because it was closed for renovation at that time.
RamtiThe best experience ever! The Museum is well-kept both inside and out. If you're traveling for the first time, it's understandably complicated, but don't forget to pick up the maps provided in the lounge area. It is free for students and anyone under the age of 25 from the EU.One of the world's most prestigious museums. Thousands of paintings and sculptures from French, Greek, Spanish, Italian, and other cultures are housed at this museum. When visiting, make sure to dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes because there will be a lot of walking.
