Gerard's Bistro is located at 14 James St | Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Queensland 4006, Australia. We were recommended by a friend for dinner. The spacious restaurant with plenty of seating meant it was a comfortable and casual dining experience. The service was very friendly, the food came out very promptly and in just the right amount. A must try is the Kobe beef brisket which is shared and comes with a variety of sides. Will definitely be back for more.

Gerard’s Bistro, I had a very silly cuttlefish noodle, and the soup was really thin, which was really rare. But the fried roll was pretty good, with vegetables inside!

A Brisbane favourite Gerard’s is a consistent gem, always great food and great service in a really lovely venue. I would walk a long way barefoot in the snow just to eat their rice pilaf.

My friends and I have never chosen wine so formally and paired it with food, because we really don't know how to do it, but the waiters here are very experienced and paired it very well for us. The service attitude is really superb. The dining environment is also very good. It's really fun to celebrate my birthday here with friends.

I accidentally discovered a restaurant that has a good reputation among local people. The grilled steak there is very good, and the portion is at least enough for three people. The salads are also quite unique and it is very popular.
