Le Chrissandier

Supreme food, cosy place and great people taking care of as well guests as preparing the meals. After 20 years wisiting the restaurant, we never had a reason to regret deciding to go there again.

Very accommodating. For some reason our reservation did not show up. They carried out a huge table fully laid out with glasses and we ate outside. The food was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. It was a lovely atmosphere as there was a rose celebration in town and they closed the roads to traffic and had live music.

Service: We ordered KIR ROYALE and got KIR. Needed to call for somebody after selecting the wine. My wife dropped of the food on the table, somebody viewed it but did not react.

Always a pleasure to eat at Le Chrissandier. Looking forward to Easter next.

Table decor was over done…..plastic baubles, a feathered bird and a silk plant.We had a table for 2; there were 4 wine glasses……2 for red, 2 for white wine….we ordered white but the 2 glasses for red remained on the table.We were not offered water.Both the appetizer and main course had an excessive amount of puréed mousse & vegetables.The owners family were dining and the granddaughter was running in and out of the dining room…..not a problem but not professional.The 2 wait staff were very nice but we were not asked if everything was to our liking during the meal and we poured our own wine…….in our experience the waiter would usually do that.I had ordered a set meal for€68 but cancelled dessert because I was no longer hungry…….my appetizer and entrée prices were therefore increased and I paid €3 more because I came off the set menu!
