Music and Location This is a great old pub, rather daggey inside but all the fun is sitting outside, listening to the great muso and enjoying the Valley Mall. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Go there and have fun.

Excellent food excellent staff would definitely return if we ever go to Toowong area again the food were large proportions, tasty just like good old pub food used to be and not expensive.

We had another fab night at the Royal on Thurs 26 May 22.The reason that we keep coming back to the Royal is the consistently high standards. The food is outstanding, and we love the relaxed, laid back and casual ambience. Best of all, the service is super friendly, polite and efficient. There are plenty of seating choices, but wherever you happen to sit, you’ll find it airy, spacious and with excellent acoustics. Add to that, clean and well provisioned toilets and ample parking at the nearby Toowong Shopping Village (two hrs free, or totally free after 6pm and on weekends) and you have all the ingredients for a fun night out with friends or family. To add to the convenience, right next door to the Royal is the popular BWS Liquor Store, so you can stock up the liquor cabinet on your way home. And If you’re a member of Monty’s Rewards, you’ll earn reward points and get a 5% discount off your bill.

Always find the staff friendly, professional and the meals are always really good quality and value. Can recommend a quick lunch here an y day of the week.
