Goul Mountain is 864 meters above sea level and has beautiful natural scenery. Since it opened as a park in 1999, it has been attracting visitors from all over the world. There are various walking trails, recreational facilities, and a variety of cultural events are often held here. When the weather is clear, you can look out over the magnificent views of the Alps. Take the cable car to the top of Gurden Mountain and enjoy panoramic views of Bern from the observation tower, as well as the Bernese Alps including the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Recreation Activities The tree-lined park has extensive children's play areas, miniature railway trains, barbecue areas and other leisure facilities, as well as various themed activities in different seasons. In summer (July) there is the Gulden Festival, when many artists from the international music scene take part in this event. In winter, when there is enough snow, the toboggan run is opened, making it a snow paradise.
