Visit the beautiful Kensington Gardens with a gorgeous vine covered tunnel and it's sunken garden. Also, we missed this, but the Princess Diana Memorial Playground looks amazing! Take the kids here to play in a Peter Pan inspired playground complete with a pirate ship.
Kensington Garden is a extension of Hyde Park and house to the Kensington Palace.
I lived within walking distance (something I did not even realise) until a friend took me to The Orangery. Which was fantastic. If you're going to do tea and scones, in London, why not at the grounds of Kensington Palace? The gardens are also spectacular in the spring, do not miss!
Kensington Gardens is about 15 minutes walk away from my apartment. Exit the building, turn left, and walk all the way down Marloes Road. You will reach Kensington High Street - take a right and keep walking for 5 mins and you will see Kensington Gardens on your left, and you will see the famous Kensington Palace in the gardens, where Princess Diana used to live. Many other Royals still live there.
