    Short walk from Oran Centre. Cost approx 80p sterling entry fee, this includes guided tour but advised to tip the guide, only in French/Arabic. Very little refurbishment has been carried out but you c...

    good views along the bay

    access wasn't possible at the time of my visit, but the site and its small park on the waterfront side offer good views around the bay both sides of port. and some welcome shade in the heat of the day
