Konak kneginje Ljubice

The area was central to Belgrade in the early 19th century and was therefore a key reason why Milos Aubrenovic chose a residence here. But because it was too close to the Turks-controlled Kalemegsl castle, he always felt that it was not suitable to live here, and soon moved out of the residence, where his wife and children lived.

The palace of Princess Ljubice is not far from the Cathedral of St. Mikhail, which is located at the corner of kinza sime markovica and kralja petra streets, in front of bogojavljanska and dubrovacka streets, one of the oldest streets in Belgrade. Due to its cultural and architectural importance, the residence is designated as a cultural monument of particular significance.
