Petrin Hill is a hill on the left bank of the Vltava River in the center of Prague. Today, Petrin Hill is mainly a leisure green space. The more famous landmarks are the Hunger Wall, Kinski Garden, Stefanik Observatory and Perez. Special Watchtower. Take the cable car up the mountain and climb the observation tower to overlook the whole city. Petrin Mountain is 327 meters above sea level. It has appeared in Franz Kafka's early short stories "Records of a Battle", Milan Kundera's "The Unbearable Lightness of Life" and Tsvetaeva's "Song of the Mountain". From the Lesser Town of Prague, the summit can be reached by the Petrin Cable Car, a funicular railway that opened in 1891.
