The 60-kilometer-long Shotover River is located in Queenstown, New Zealand's South Island, next to the magnificent and narrow Shotover River Gorge. The scenery on both sides of the canyon is beautiful, especially in summer and autumn. The Shotover River is surrounded by green elements, canyons and cliffs, and green waters, forming a flowing landscape painting. The river is fast flowing and runs through the entire narrow and steep canyon. It is because of its unique geographical factors and the surrounding beauty that jet boats have become a very popular recreational item in this area.
