I really enjoyed walking around the gallery. It was a rainy day and the gallery got great material from the weather. After my visit to the Cairns Museum (that was very disappointing), I didn’t expect so many surprises, so I was surprised. I visited two major exhibitions: one of the artworks made of steel, the other of the exhibitions on female abstract artists. I really enjoyed abstract artworks - some very famous artists have some really wonderful works. I really appreciate that the works include works from Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal artists. The gallery shop was also very nice and I bought a lovely, relatively cheap handmade ceramic bowl. There was no admission fee either, just donations.
