Cavendish Lab is a laboratory of international influence at the University of Cambridge and another name for the Department of Physics at the University of Cambridge. Since the laboratory was founded by Cavendish in the late 19th century, it has made a lot of important scientific achievements affecting human progress, including the discovery of electrons, neutrons, the structure of atomic nuclei, the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA, etc. As a physics department, I also have a strong record of training talents, and there are 26 Nobel Prize winners among the graduates of this laboratory. I can't help but admire this not-too-grand building.
