The ancient building of the Royal Taoist Temple in the Ming and Qing Dynasties belongs to the key cultural relics protection units in the country. The temple is located in the imperial city of Beijing, east of Beihai Park and west of Jingshan. It was built in Ming Jiajing 21 years (1542). Because the gate of the Great Gaoxuan Temple is three doors side by side, this place is commonly known as "three doors".
