Watching Pompeii excavate human remains, the grim posture makes people feel pain spread in the blood vessels. Many people are ruthlessly torn apart from the chains of life in their sleep. Pompeii, however, was not the only victim of the disaster. Along with Pompeii, the nearby ancient city of Hekuranim was destroyed. Once upon a time, it was thought that the Hekuranim were luckier than the Pompeii to escape in time because no human bones were found in the archaeological excavations. Later, however, archaeologists found a large number of skeletons near the old Mediterranean coastline, and the Hekuranims were cut off by the tsunami caused by the volcanic eruption during their escape. Eventually, they could not escape the tease of fate and were buried by the sea.
