The Adelaide Observatory is located on Montefiore Mountain, which is said to be a mountain. In fact, I think it is a proper highland. The white roof building in the distance is a cricket court. The observation deck was built in 1938 and there is a bronze statue of Admiral William Wright. Admiral Wright will be the city's urban planner, and it is because of his choice in 1837 that he has the current Adelaide.
