It was built to commemorate the death of the famous navigator Magellan. It is a free attraction. If you pass by, you can come and see it. There is no need to come.

The famous Spanish navigator and explorer, Magellan, died here. This monument is more than a hundred years old. There are many colonial architecture patterns that can be seen. There are also many vegetation around the monument.

这位著名的航海家就死在这个地方，简直就是讽刺至极，现在建这个纪念碑来纪念他，是真纪念还是真耻辱呢？顶部的壁画更多是讲述他的贡献，如何用宗教的眼光来看，确实让当地人都信奉了天主教，在传教的事情上有贡献的。

伟大的麦哲轮死在了拉普拉普。带着神圣使命又有点疏忽大意的麦哲轮从宿务来到对你的麦克坦岛的拉普拉普，就在这里被拉普拉普酋长伏击身亡，这个纪念碑就是纪念他的。
