Mahogany Forest Review

Beautiful place, lovely for photos, but a bit offputting with the amount of tourists standing in the middle of the road taking photos

Beautiful Manmade forest created by thousands of volunteers 50 years ago to stop the flood and protect the dying forest in remembrance of all the care we must do to our nature.

这里的山路弯弯曲曲，要拍个照都要一直等车过，因为山路弯曲所以也看不太到来车，有好几段路边都有停车让人家拍照，我们的司机就选在一处帮我们拍，还一直要我们拍一家人跳起来的模样。这个位置不用门票费用，只需支付运输费用(包车/计程车/机车)，所在位置在路边，在炎热的天气里，这边是个避暑好地方，偶有车辆经过，务必小心。 停留时间约20分钟

Driving through this man-made forest is wonderful! The mahogany trees that line the sides of the street give a feeling of being truly one with nature. The sun becomes partially hidden, and the atmosphere turns cold once you are in the area. One cannot help but stop for a while to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the coolness.

I wish this coukd be done in the whole Philippines. I wonder how much impact that would make. Simply amazing!

One of the must-visit places in Bohol. Aside from being a free-entrance destination, you'll experience being in the middle of the forest, feeling its natural coolness and take note, the trees there are manually planted by people in the nearby areas.
