Mount Apo Review

I am at the elevation of 1,299 meters above sea level of Mt. Apo. I am exactly at the highlands of Digos City at Kapatagan which is actually at the foothills of Mt. Apo. Sunrise is best seen here. It is a cold chilly morning of October 24, 2022.

The Apollo Mountains in Davo are very beautiful. It feels great to climb here. There is no need for tickets. It still requires a lot of physical strength to climb the top of the mountain, but the scenery on the top of the mountain is really great.

Mount Abo, located about 30 kilometers southwest of Davo City, is the highest peak in the Philippines at an altitude of 2954 meters. Abo Mountain is an active volcano, but it has not erupted for nearly a hundred years. It is surrounded by tropical hardwood forests. Now the main peak and surrounding area of the Apo Mountains have been opened up as the Apo Mountains National Park, with waterfalls and hot springs, becoming a famous tourist attraction.
