Nelson Rollehrahra Mandela (July 18, 1918 December 5, 2013) was born in Transke, South Africa, and was a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Africa and a Barrister from the University of Witwatersrand. He was the National Secretary and President of the ANC Youth League. He was the first black president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999 and was revered as the “Founding Father of South Africa”.
