The Twelve Zodiac Pagodas, also known as the Twelve Pagodas Temple, are located in the city of Tongwang, with a total of twelve small pagodas. The reason why they are called the Twelve Zodiac Pagodas is that they are carved with different animals, similar to the Chinese Zodiac. Entering from the Victory Gate north of the East Gate of Tongwang City, we walked along the road until we reached the war elephant step. In the bushes directly opposite it, there were the 12 zodiac towers. Twelve ancient red earth pagodas lined up in one word, abstract in shape, have gone through years of storms and hardships. Although the 12 zodiac pagodas are now extremely desolate, these pagodas are decorated with broken battle elephant steps under the cover of the woods, forming a picture of vicissitudes of life, which deserves quiet appreciation.
