Prasin Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai and the most noble temple in Chiang Mai. It was first built in 1345 by King Menglai to worship his father's ashes. After several expansion, the existing scale was formed. Around the monastery, there are two giant dragons inlaid with colored glass sheets and small fan-shaped glazed ceramic tiles, each with seven taps in size, on both sides of the majestic stone steps, the dragon head is high and majestic. In the center of the monastery is a large golden pagoda about 20 meters high, built in the 16th century. It is said that there are Sakyamuni Buddha's relics in the pagoda.
