Khunjerab Port is located in Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County, with an altitude of more than 5,000 meters. It is the port with the highest altitude in the world. Khunjerab Port was an important pass on the famous ancient Silk Road more than 1,000 years ago. It is the land entry and exit passage from China to Pakistan, and it is also an important gateway to South Asia and even Europe.
