On the rest day in Israel, the Carmel Market, the largest traditional market in Tel Aviv, is invigorating. A small street a few hundred meters long is lined with small stalls. Local people buy fresh vegetables, fruits, spices, snacks and other daily necessities every day. I also like the craft fairs on the pedestrian street next to the market every Tuesday and Friday. The crafts of each booth are extremely sensational, almost all of which are unique works created by local craftsmen. When we went to the Pulin Festival in Israels national carnival, we also encountered local people who specially dressed up when they were hanging out in the market. Buying a favorite craft in the art market, or eating a street lunch at the Carmel market is the best choice for Be as a local.
