The surprising Poland
When I have booked the flight to Warsaw I wasn’t expecting being amazed!
The large, clean streets with impressive architecture amazed me.
And about the Warsaw’s Old Town, it is the jewel in the Polish capital’s crown. It delighted us with its colourful tenement houses and the unique atmosphere of its narrow streets. It is no wonder that it has been entered on the UNESCO World Heritage list!
I did not see any other town woth these pastel trees by autumn, is amazing!

Palace of Culture and Science, Poland 🇵🇱
One of the highest and most recognisable building in Warsaw can be seen from almost every part of the capital. With a total height of 237 metres (778 ft) it is the second tallest building in both Warsaw and Poland after Varso. Built by Russian workers, for a long time, it was considered to be a symbol of socialist power and the pride of People’s Poland – it was where conventions of the Polish United Workers’ Party took place. #poland #warsaw #capital
This is the 360 degrees view from the top of the Palace of Culture and Science located in the hearth of Warsaw. You can see the Vistula river and the big boulevards around. Also very notable are the many skyscrapers of the city. It costs something around $5 to visit it, so it is so convenient.

The Palace of Science and Culture in Warsaw is perhaps the most landmark building in the world that is not seen by locals.
This majestic Russian-style building is still the tallest building in Poland. It was given to Poland by Stalin during Soviet rule. one's gift. However, in the eyes of many Poles, it is an inescapable history and an indelible shame. They have given the building a lot of satirical titles, such as Stalin's syringe, Russian wedding cake, etc... But aside from politics Not to mention, in terms of architecture itself, combining Baroque and Gothic Stalin architecture, grand, towering and not lacking in aesthetics is definitely a treasure in the history of human architecture.
Take the elevator to the top level observation deck. When the elevator door opens, the wind will come to the front. The gift of the fighting nation is really awkward. Even the viewing platform is built in the open air. If it is not a wire fence Its a minute to jump. The city of Warsaw was almost razed to the ground in World War II. After the war, the local people spontaneously rebuilt according to the original features of the ancient city and restored a beautiful old city in Eastern Europe. Therefore, from the four-story science and culture palace in the old city, except for the modern buildings near the railway station, the other low-rise buildings are neatly arranged, and you can see the new city on the other side of the Vistula River at a glance. go with. In the cafe on the top floor, order a cup of coffee to protect the cold, waiting for the nightingale to come, the stars to appear, and then to enjoy the night view of Warsaw. Although it is not roughly the same as the night view of other cities, the Hua Deng is on the rise, the bustling scene, but the 30-story observation deck is blowing the cold wind, but it seems to see the strong and sad behind the war. Smile, feeling a sad beauty without any reason.

The National Museum in Warsaw is one of the oldest art museums in Poland. It was established in 1862 as the Museum of Fine Arts, but its seat was not built until 1927–1938. The building in the modernist style was designed by Tadeusz Tołwiński.
Today, the Museum's collections include approximately 830,000 works of Polish and world art, from antiquity to the present day. They include painting, sculpture, drawings and engravings, photographs, numismatics, as well as objects of applied art and design.
The museum houses a wonderful collection of paintings, sculptures and crafts from all eras, from antiquity to the present day. Masterpieces of Polish and world art are presented in thematic galleries.
In the 19th-century Art Gallery, you will be amazed by the most outstanding works of Polish artists shown in the context of European works. An undoubted attraction is the "Battle of Grunwald" by Jan Matejko. This is the largest Polish painting, the canvas of which is nearly 40 m2 (4.26 x 9.87 m).

PRL Museum in Warsaw
PRL is a time of many paradoxes. On the one hand, the reconstruction of the country from war damage was accompanied by huge public enthusiasm, on the other hand, it was impossible to escape the intensified party propaganda of success, and the scale of persecution by the Security Services was unprecedented in history. The average inhabitant of Poland at that time suffered the effects of orders and restrictions resulting from the inefficiency of nationalized industry every day, but these were also times of increased creativity and resourcefulness.
The aim of the exhibition is to show the everyday life of the People's Republic of Poland. The interiors and objects presented at the exhibition tell a story about how the policy of "people's power" influenced the daily lives of the citizens affected by its actions. They are valuable witnesses to history. They are a documentation of the changing realities and social needs in times when everything had to be "arranged" or organized.

Wilanów Palace Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The Wilanów Palace in Warsaw
The Wilanów Palace is a Baroque pearl of Warsaw. The palace and the garden have remained unchanged despite the partitions, wars and occupations. Here you will feel like King Jan III Sobieski - the conqueror of the Turks from Vienna, who in 1683 stopped their march through Europe. The ruler, who gained the nickname of the fearless Lechistan Lion in Europe, lived there together with his beloved wife Marysieńka.
In the palace you will see the apartments of the king and the apartments of Queen Maria Casimire, including the Chinese, Dutch, Antiquities and the Potocki Museum. Stop for a longer time in the White Room to see the images of the successive owners of the palace and people associated with them.
In winter, Wilanów invites you to the Royal Garden of Light. Walking through it, you will encounter beautiful figures from a bygone era, animals and plants of fanciful shapes. The darkness of the night is illuminated by thousands of lights that dance to the rhythm of classical music during special shows.
The spring of Warsaw is really suitable for strolling around~
Wilanow Palace is a palace building in Warsaw, Poland, known as the "Versailles Palace" in Poland. It was one of the most important monuments in Poland. It was spared in the division of Poland and the two world wars. The Baroque palace architecture and gardens of Villano Palace are very good with my skirts. The interior and exterior of the palace are exquisite and elegant, the yellow faade is impressive, the garden in May is very beautiful, and it is elegant from Poland~
