Is there anyone who haven’t heard about Zhangjiajie Avatar mountains? I suppose not 😁 one the most famous and popular destinations in China. Our trip started in Changsha where we stayed for half a day. Then by train we departed to Zhangjiajie. Railway station is not very far away from the scenery area, but we waited for taxi for quite some time as arrived late in the evening. The mountains don’t need to be described too much. Amazing. It’s better to see once than hear a hundred times. So just go see it with your own eyes 😁 As expected, many people, but didn’t affect overall experience. Absolutely recommend to visit. P.S. The Scenic area of Zhangjiajie for sure is the big attraction in the area here. If you cannot enter yet or like to do a hiking trip outside the path close to Wuljngyuan is highly recommended. GPS Position for Start of the hiking: 29.334810256958008, 110.57112121582031

Getting There - You can take a Didi to Wulingyuan ticket area directly from the train station for around 55rmb Attractions - the mountains themselves are a forest of immense proportions. There are small monkeys, walking paths, trains, a cable car and a lift Hotels - hotels in the Wulingyuan area are cheap and well maintained Food & Restaurants - in the scenic area itself there is a lot of food choices, from BBQ to noodles, you can always pick up water and other drinks Shopping - there are some small shopping areas featuring gifts from homemade to paintings of the mountain range.#staycation #nationalpark #naturalwonders #solotravel

One of a-must-visit location in Hunan province, Zhangjiajie. A place where I felt being covered with mountains, forests, trees and fresh air whenever I climbed inside Wulingyuan (for 2 days). Try having hot coffee at the peak of the mountain under cold weather, you will love the taste. The only reminder to all, make sure to prepare all the covers and raincoat before heading to ZJJ. This is Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie Hunan province. It’s accessible by bus from Zhangjiajie city which has a high speed rail and an airport. The avatar mountains are stunning and you have many spots to shoot amazing pictures. It costs from 30¥ with a bus from Zhangjiajie to Wulingyuan, they’re many affordable hotels in Wulingyuan. The local people are very welcoming and they are a lot of restaurants in which you can enjoy the taste of local food. At the entrance to the forest park they is KFC and Starbucks. It’s a great place to visit and be stunned by nature far away from the busy bussing cities. Enjoy the clean air!! #summervacation

a great place if you love nature. the scenery is great with a lot of mountains . on getting there you buy tickets and some buses will take you up the mountain. you can choose to hike or use a train which cost 38 yuan one way . there is also the tallest elevator in the mountain which costs 65 yuan one way. #summervacation#hikingtrails#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Getting There - take the bus from Zhangjiajie station. It’s around ¥13 & outside of the traffic times is around 30 minutes travel. Attractions - Zhangjiajie park, Hunan restaurants, local cultural performances, river, cafes, bars. It’s convenient to stay here if you want to see the attractions in the area. There are busses going directly to the Grand Canyon the park gates and Zhangjiajie. Hotels - many to choose from, clean hostels, boutique hotels or home stays, Wulingyuan has it all. It’s recommended to choose somewhere to stay close to the park entrance. Food & Restaurants - fantastic outdoor breakfast buffets and many Chinese restaurants. Fast food is also available including KFC & Starbucks.
