Many ancient cities have an ancient bell tower. Baoding is a famous historical city. There is also a bell tower in the city center. It was built in the Jin Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. The two floors of the clock have inscriptions, the upper eight-sided book "Long live the emperor, the heavy courtiers" eight big words. The middle layer is the name of the heavy courtiers and the time of the casting of the clock. The boundary stone of the Warring States Yan and Zhao two countries is called the stone of the nations. For a long time, the countries have turned to the melon. It is with Cangzhou Lion, Jingzhou Tower, Zhaozhou Shiqiao, Zhengding Bodhisattva, the five monuments of Hebei in the folk song.

Each floor is cast as one of the early ancient clocks in existence. The building is built on a high platform, 2 floors high, the stairs on the east side, and the top of the Bowa Mountain is heavy. The lower porch column is a small octagonal stone pillar, the bucket arch is three steps on a single Ang, and the upper porch is five steps on a single Ang Dou arch. Although this building is the scale after the reconstruction of the Ming Dynasty, it still retains some of the early wooden structures in the construction method.
