Fengxian Temple is located on the east side of the Forbidden City in Beijing. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty to sacrifice the ancestors of the Ming Dynasty royal family. It was rebuilt in the 14th year of the Qing Shunzhi Dynasty (1657) and then renovated many times. Fengxian Temple is an I-shaped building built on the white Sumizu, surrounded by high-rise buildings. The Forbidden City Watch Hall was originally located in Fengxian Hall, and a total of 123 pieces of clocks manufactured in and outside the 18th century were displayed. In 2019, the clock hall moved out of Fengxian Hall and converted the Nanqunfang area on the south side of Fengxianmen to a new clock hall.
