I wanted to leave a review for this venue. I needed assistance to attend an event with work colleagues but has access issues due to being on crutches and not being able to stand for long. Becky went above and beyond putting a reserved area in place with seats that didn't restrict my view of the stage and where people couldn't stand Infront of me. I couldn't have got through the night without this support from the staff and Becky. The building is an old building and the stairs are a struggle to climb, but once I was up on the right level, I was able to use the bathroom without climbing anymore stairs as the disabled toilet is on the ground floor which is not ideal if you have booked the upstairs circle. But I can't fault the staff and the fact that Becky took all my worries away in order for me to attend with my work friends. Becky truly went above and beyond to be inclusive. Thank you so much.

Excellent Access Arrangements at O2 Academy Bournemouth

This is a fantastic venue, which is well organised and provides a great environment whatever the event. I have recently experienced their access arrangements following a back injury and requiring a wheelchair. I was blown away by the prompt and informative response I received. In addition, the options available to me as a wheelchair user were vast and I felt that I was completely accommodated for my needs. This really does make a difference and it's great to see a venue provide such a great access service. A special shout out to Becky Mount, who so kindly assisted me.

Lovely building but poor sound quality & expensive drinks

This Venue in theory should be fantastic. The building is amazing inside and it's just the right size for a good Gig. The staff are very friendly and polite. We recently attended the Happy Mondays Gig but what lets the place down is the sound quality and the drink prices. It's very difficult to hear the artists when they try to speak to the audience. The drink prices are also extortionate, £7.95 for a pint?!
