Hua Lin means the starting point of receiving water by passing through a gutter. In the past, this corner of the city wall was received water from Huai Kaew to import in the city Therefore, the corner of this city wall is called Chaeng Hua Lin. This fort was renovated during the reign of King Kawila around 1834.
