Doupotang Waterfall

Steep Potang Waterfall is the widest waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfall Group, 105 meters wide. It is the 86 version of the « West Journey , so there are many elements of West Journey in the park. The scenic spot is not big, you can finish it in less than an hour. It is still worth taking time to see.

＂ Doupotang Waterfall ＂ is located 1 km upstream of Huangguoshu Waterfall. The waterfall is 105 meters wide and 21 meters high. It is the widest waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfall Group. The scenery is spectacular. The waterfall is like coming from the sky, and it is spread across the calcium Huatan dam more than 100 meters. When the water is flat, the white water river is not large, the water flow is clear, and the waterfall looks very beautiful and charming. The waterfall becomes abnormally fierce when the flood season comes, and the roar of ＂ rumbling ＂ will be made, which means ＂ rumbling waterfall ＂. Xu Xiake, a traveler in the Ming Dynasty, described the steep slope pond waterfall in "Travelling" as: ＂ emptied and snowed, but did not see it below, and the cover was separated by the cliff. This place was also the scene of the 86-version TV series "Traveling to the West". Today, hundreds of flowers are blooming and thousands of birds are competing in the scenic area. Hundreds of natural birds live here, so it is also known as the Ecological Wanbird Garden.
