The Donglongzhou Fort, which explores the sea in the northeast of Donglongzhou, was built in the late Qing Dynasty to defend against pirates. The Fort was built by the two governors of Guangxi, Yang Lin, about 1719-1722 (the end of Kangxi). The Donglongzhou Fort is rectangular, with a long exterior wall of 33.5 meters, wide 22.5 meters, and a height of 3 meters. The north wall has entrances and exits. The Fort has 15 barracks and 8 artillery. The Fort is now deserted and has become a legal monument in Hong Kong.

The view of the fort is average, but the whole island is worth a visit
There's only one archaeological site, and nothing can be seen.
