Thad mistakenly once remarked that there were no decent Thai restaurants in Greenbelt. Then we happened to walk by this one which is located off our usual path. We decided to try it one day soon. We invited a few good friends for a leisurely weekend lunch. We ordered a nice variety of dishes: regular pad thai, salad with squid and pomelo, bok choy with mushrooms, kangkong with pan fried pork belly and chicken wrapped in pandan leaves. We were pleasantly surprised at how good each dish was. So I take it back, Simply Thai is a very good Thai restaurant tucked in a corner of Greenbelt 5! The ambiance is great, as well as the food. The staffs are very attentive and helpful. Just don't get fooled by their "good for n people", as it's way bigger than that! They were amazing as they gave a special song 🎶 serenade for Dad and Mum and they even served a plate of chocolate croquette with anniversary greetings. Our dining started with a complimentary basket of home-baked Tuscan and Foccacia bread, which is accompanied with olive oil and aged vinegar. It was deliciously made. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Italianni’s and we will surely return their to try more of its dishes. Went there on a weekday night and the place is packed with customers on queue. The price is right for the selection of beef and pork and their side dishes as well. The place is not smokey and discomforting at all which I prefer the most. Definitely not my first and last Samgyupsalamat experience. Best charcoal samgyeopsal place in Cebu to-date.
