Tunxi Old Bridge

When I went to Huangshan Tunxi for a trip, I went to the Xin'an River and walked to an ancient bridge. I found the explanation of the shore. I realized that this ancient bridge is called Zhenhai Bridge, which has a history of more than 400 years. The bridge was built in 15 years (1536) of Mingjiajing. The bridge stands on the Hengjiangkou. The east and west runs through Tunxi Old Street and Liyang. In the old days, it was a gateway to and from Tunxi. Zhenhai Bridge is a six-dun seven-hole stone arch bridge, 6 meters wide, 10 meters high, and 133 meters long. Because the bridge is high, the ground at both ends of the bridge is lower than the bridge, so it extends 15 meters from each end. 2019 On October 7, Tunxi Zhenhai Bridge was announced by the State Council as the eighth batch of key cultural protection units nationwide.

Near the famous Tunxi Old Street in Huangshan, the lighting effect of the riverside bridge and the building is very good at night. Tunxi Old Street is also worth a visit. It is very authentic Huizhou architectural style and you can taste a variety of Huizhou snacks.
