Dajing Scenic Spot

The former residence of Mao Zedong in Dajing Village, Jinggangshan City, is located in the center of the house, the house sits north facing south, and the civil structure. On October 24, 1927, Mao Zedong led the autumn harvest uprising troops to Dajing Village, and lived in the east wing of the house. The yellow house adjacent to Mao Zedong's former residence is Zhu De and Chen Yi's old residence. There are two red bean fir and eucalyptus trees behind the house, known as "evergreen trees". The big stone in front of the house is known as "reading stone" because Mao Zedong often sits on it reading books and reading newspapers and approving documents.

Dajing is one of the places where Chairman Mao once fought and lived in Jinggangshan. Zhu De and Chen Yi also fought and lived here. The original objects retained have a remnant wall, the reading stone that Chairman Mao once sat, and two trees. It is a must-come place to come to Jinggangshan.
