Dayang Reservoir

Dayang Reservoir is located in the alpine valley 35 kilometers southeast of Jinyun County. It was built in the early 1970s and is 850 meters above sea level. The Ocean Reservoir uses the natural drop of 660 meters downstream of the reservoir to generate cascade power. Several precipitous mountain peaks were dug from top to bottom, a water diversion channel more than 20 miles long was built, and six power stations were built to connect the upper and lower power stations in a line, which is majestic. Ocean hunting: There are more than 6,600 mu of mountain forests surrounding the reservoir, with deep grass and dense trees, lush and lush, and many wild animals often haunt them. The more interesting thing to hunt here is to catch muntjacs. After the deep winter snow, the deer was so hungry that he scurried around for food. There are often small animals such as scorpions and badgers in the reservoir area. Wild boars are often seen in the mountains and forests, and the safer way is to use clipping and poisoning to capture them. Ocean hooks: Due to the lush forests and clear waters in the reservoir area, the bait in the water is not very rich, which makes the fish particularly greedy; the bites are fierce, and it is a good time for fishing from late spring to late autumn. It is not uncommon to catch a large fish of several kilograms or even ten kilograms. If it is not too small, fishing in shallow water with a rod can also be full of rewards. With the change of seasons, there are often mandarin ducks and egrets in the reservoir.
