Pleasant walk
I enjoyed a pleasant walk, early in the morning to Lake Nukabira, past the old railway tracks. Next time I will look deeper into the railway history and the abandoned bridges.
This Lake Nukahira is where the Taushubetsu Bridge is standing. It is a dam lake of a fairly large size. I visited 10/15, but it feels like I'm saving a lot in preparation for the demand for power generation in winter.
The road to the observatory where you can see the Taushubetsu Bridge is not a big deal, but be careful of the muddy parking lot is quite full. The tracks on the way are good! !!
It is an artificial lake by Nukahira Dam and is surrounded by rich nature. Since it was late September, the tree 々 began to colorfully fall and it was a beautiful sight.
I parked my car at the visitor center and walked one way 7 km less 々 to Metosep on the old Shihoro Line site. There were a lot of mosquitoes, but the trail in the forest feels good. There was a road that could go down to the shore of the lake in some places on the way, so I took a break. It's the best view.
