    The obelisk is so so, but the town is interesting

    We went to Mir on a one day trip from Minsk. It,s about 80 Km, and the roads are fine. The little obelisk in the jewish part of Mir is not much to see, but the surrounding town with the old tree house...

    The beautiful view of Mir Castle is from the front and over the pond, but this monument is on the other side of the live, which is usually not available. The monument itself is not known and it is not big, so I think it is easy to miss it.
