    A museum and factory where you can experience the past and present of Japanese textile machinery. You can also simply experience how to make textiles. There is also a dyeing facility inside, so you can experience dyeing your own design.

    This is a nationally registered tangible cultural property 16 ケ [No. 10-0172~ 181 & No. 10-0182~ 0186] as a building, and it is one of the constituent cultural properties of Japan Heritage [Kakaa Tenka ~ Gunma Silk Fabrics ~] (see attached photo). You can see the roof of ノコギリ which is a feature of Kiryu's building from the view デッキ, and when you enter the exhibition room, you can feel the lighting by the north window, and the largest existing hand loom in Japan (high machine: Takahata) Buildings and weaving of Kiryu ...
