A pleasant snowhike option from the bottom of the last lift at Mount Norikura ski area in winter if a full day on the slopes is too much work. Good in every other season too.
On the way back from Mt. Norikura, get off the bus and stop by. Arrived at the waterfall in less than 30 minutes one way from the bus stop. There aren't many tourists, but it was a very powerful waterfall.

Three waterfalls in one - winner!
